Kohat University of Science & Technology (KUST) has started the construction work on Tribal Hostel. The hostel would be constructed through provincial government's FATA fund, said a press release of the varsity issued here on Tuesday. The total cost on this project has been estimated Rs 30 million that is being undertaken by MS Hashtnagar Construction Company.

Having over 200 students capacity, this hotel would be completed in a period of 15 months. After the construction of the campus's second hostel, the accommodation problem of the students would be resolved up to great extent.

Talking on the occasion, KUST Vice Chancellor Dr Zabata Khan Shinwari said the varsity would work hard and show a fruitful result of commitment with students and their parents. He was specially thankful to the NWFP Governor Syed Iftikhar Hussain Shah and Higher Education Commission Chairman Dr Atta-ur-Rehman for making efforts to improve the educational standard in the country.
